Opening Day Details: Saturday, 4/18, 10am at Fireman's Field

When & Where
Opening Day is Saturday, April 18th, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM ET. We will be gathering at Fireman's Field (144 Beach St, Rockaway, NJ 07866). Please make sure all players arrive in their full uniform, ready to show off those team colors!

The "New" Opening Ceremony
In a change from previous years, we will not be holding a parade through town. Instead, everyone will meet directly at Fireman's Field to start the festivities. When you arrive, please look for your team and coach to congregate together near the inside of the fence adjacent to Beach Street.We will announce teams, coaches, and individual player names as they march down the third-base line toward home plate. This is the perfect time for parents to grab a great photo of the team gathered behind home plate!

Food & Festivities
We’re turning the field into a party! To keep the energy high, hot dogs, chips, and drinks will be provided for all players. We also have some awesome new activities planned this year, including:A Dunk Tank (bring your best arm!)Carnival Style GamesFun Giveaways (available while supplies last)Rockaway Day with the Somerset Patriots We are thrilled to announce our "Rockaway Day with Somerset Patriots" fundraiser! A Note on Volunteering
Our league thrives because of our amazing community. This year, we are asking all Coach Pitch and Farm League Baseball parents to volunteer for at least one game to help run the snack shed at Smith Field. It’s a great way to meet other families and support the kids.Please note that a brief background check questionnaire will be sent out and must be completed by all volunteers.
